Way to go, Yuko: you have a very nice blog, a solid project, baking talent and very good food photography skills! I say you are off to a great start!
By the way, are you considering adding a WP “follow” button to your blog? I think you should! I for one would be glad to sign up.
Finally, it must have been quite a dramatic change moving all the way from Brooklyn to Santa Monica! You live in blessed country!
    Take care

    • Stefano,

I don’t know how to describe how happy I am right now!!! The baking bread is really fun and it is like science / alchemy to me. I am into it very much!
Regarding the “follow” button, don’t you see it at the very top of my blog??? Oh my goodness, I thought it’s there… Could you check again and let me know if you don’t see it. I will fix it :-)
I am so lucky to live in beautiful Santa Monica! I know the brutal COLD hits east coast, so please keep you warm and have a great weekend!

      Warm regards,
      Yuko

Ha! I love the reference to alchemy! :-)
Okay, so in regard to the follow button: the one that shows up in the bar on top of your blog adds your blog to the reader of whomever clicks on it. Instead, if you add a “follow” button to your blog (which you do from the Appearance/Widgets tab on the left of your Dashboard) that lets whoever clicks on it receive your posts by email, with the added bonus that you can also be followed by non-WP readers. I think you should consider adding it, it is only going to take you 3 minutes to set up and it should make it even easier for people to follow you!
And yes, here in CT it has been snowing since very early this morning! Enjoy your weekend in beautiful Santa Monica!

    • Stefano, thanks for your suggestion and now you can see the “follow” button on my blog. Yippee!
Like you said, it took literally 3 minutes to add the button to my blog and I wonder WHY I didn’t do this until now… Hahaha! I appreciate your help and kindness :-)
      Happy weekend!!!

    • Hi Michelle,
Thank you for your lovely words! You totally made my day :-)
I started my pastry career and worked as pastry cook for 5 years in Japan. Moved to NYC 2006 and worked as a pastry cook, pastry chef at patisseries and restaurants for 6 years and then moved to California last year.
I started baking bread, self-taught except brioche or croissant :-) I LOVE baking bread and I am also obsessed with baking baguettes!
I am very happy you like my work and that encouraged me so much to bake more bread! Thank you, Michelle!
      Yuko
